Essential Barbeque Utensils for the New Smoker Barbeque Cook

Every cook needs items that make the act of cooking easier and more efficient. As a category, barbeque utensils are generally used in the preparation of food items. All of these barbeque utensils are used to enhance the flavor of food items. We have listed a few here that help make new cook's job easier.

  • Injectors are useful for flavoring the larger cuts of meat.
  • Injecting marinades into pork shoulders and brisket are great flavor enhancers. We recommend having a couple of sizes (2 ounce and 4 ounce sizes). Try to avoid the plastic models because they don't last very long. Look for the metal injectors.

  • Spatulas, Tongs, Containers, and Jars are useful for preparing food.
  • You've got to have a strong set of these tools for working around your smoker. Flimsy ones don't work when you want to turn or flip a butt, brisket, or rib rack.

Containers and jars are required for marinating and rubs. Each of these items is underrated but very useful for the new barbeque cook.
