Carolina BBQ Rub


Good, all around "Jack of all trades" rub for pork, chicken, or beef.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup paprika

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Sprinkle on almost any meat you intend to smoke.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  4. Smoke following the "How to Barbeque" directions.
