Barbeque Rubs for Pork, Beef, Poultry, and Fish

Rubs

Rubs can be as simple as just using salt and pepper to season your dish. We have listed our "everyday" rub and others that have been created especially for ribs, brisket, and chicken.

Our "everyday" day rub is called Rufus Rub (after the dog)

Rufus Rub

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup seasoned salt
  • 3 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons onion salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper
  • 1 tablespoons ground celery seed
  • 1 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/3 smoked paprika

Directions

  1. Combine everything in a bowl.
  2. Store in a glass container (Mason jar)
